SELECTING A MONUMENT

Selecting a monument may seem overwhelming, but we have broken it down to 3 easy steps.

SELECT A CEMETERY

Traditionally, Jewish symbols appear on the Monument and if the family would like to add a design, they are invited to choose from many of our samples. In many cases, a family may have a design prepared specifically for the deceased.

Please contact us at (514) 845-7700 as each cemetery has varied regulations in terms of size and color.

Traditionally the inscription is divided into 2 separate parts: The Hebrew inscription includes the Hebrew name of the deceased as well as his/her father’s Hebrew name, and the Hebrew date of passing. The English inscription includes the person’s name, their surviving relations as well as their date of birth and date of passing. The family may add a personal epitaph or message as well.
